Who is 8 Second Addiction?
We are a group of people from all over the
United States and a few other countries that have one thing in common; we enjoy and support the sport of bull riding. Up until this year
we were a message board community only. However, due to the
success of the board and the desire for a more permanent home we started
8SecondAddiction.com. The site would not have been possible
without the hard work and dedication of multiple board members. All of
the work on this site has been done by board members that have
volunteered their time and talents. From securing
the domain name, the development of the graphics and the sharing of
ideas this site has truly been a group project. Thank-you also to
all of the members that have posted their thoughts and ideas on the
message board for us to share. With out you there would be no 8
Second Addiction. I hope you all enjoy our new home.
There are a lot of web sites about bull riding out there, what makes yours
unique?
We are unique from other sites in that we have
grown out the fan experience of bull riding. There are a lot
of other great bull riding sites out there (check out our links section
to visit a few of our favorites) however, most are dedicated to the
promotion of the western life style, the rodeo business, the athletes or
a specific association. At 8 Second Addiction we want to provide a place
to celebrate the fans of the sport and give them a place to learn more
about all aspects of the sport they love and share their experiences.
As fans, we also do all that we can to support the men and woman that
sacrifice everyday for the sport. We understand that without the
riders, contractors, bull fighters, judges, rodeo secretaries,
volunteers and countless others that help make every ride possible there
would be no fan experience.
